Welcome in the munipicial library of Sindelfingen
If you just moved to Sindelfingen and miss books, CDs, videos, magazines, internet....
just have a look and become a member of the Stadtbibliothek Sindelfingen.
In our main library we offer you 12.000 German novels, 1.300 English novels, 39.000 non-fiction books, 2.900 DVDs, 800 CD-ROMs to be borrowed, 100 magazines and newspapers.
20.000 media in the music library: books, scores, 4.500 CDs (classic and pop) and 190 music-/DVDs (classic and pop).
Our children's library with 13.000 children's books, comics, videos, magazines, MCs and CD-ROMs.

Library Regulations:
Everybody may use the Stadtbibliothek, you just bring your passport and registration or your identity card for the registration.
The annual fee makes 14 Euro per year for adults, children and scholars are free of charge.
Students, trainees, persons doing community service and soldiers 7 Euro.
Day ticket for 4 media (without the possibility to renew the media) 2 Euro.
For the following services we have extra fees - reservation per medium 1 Euro, interlibrary-loan (per book) 3 Euro, substitute-library-card 6 Euro (Children 3 Euro).
You can borrow
CDs, DVDs, magazines and videos 2 weeks, all other media 4 weeks.
Overdue charges
From the first day after the date of return 1 Euro per medium, from the 8th day after the date of return
2 Euro per medium, from the 15th day after the date of return 3 Euro per medium and 5 Euro for the overdue notice.
For children the overdue charges are reduced to 50 %.
